Phil and me made a little trip to the countryside near munich to have a look at sustainable and organic farming at the Herrmannsdorfer Landwerkstätten. 25 years ago Karl Ludwig Schweisfurth, former global player in the meat industry, established an utopia of sustainable, organic farming and renaissance of traditional agricultural craftsmanships. Today, surrounded by beautiful countryside, his dream of producing good food with an ethical approach towards soil, livestock and staff has become reality – and makes a profit!
